Slenderman One Act: Scene Two

Scene Two

It is nighttime. Your futon has been pulled out into a bed. You have a comforter covering you. The cat is asleep in the kitchen. The screen is at first black, but as You sleep into deeper sleep, it begins to show what You are dreaming. In Your dream You are underwater. Currently, You are trapped under seaweed. You struggle to get out of the seaweed in your dream. In the real world, You are struggling out of Your comforter. You finally break free, in both the dream and real world. In the dream, You begin walking across the ocean floor. In the real world, You begin walking to the kitchen. In Your dream, You see a sea monster. In the real world, You are approaching the cat in the kitchen. In Your dream, the sea monster wakes from its slumber and lashes out at You. The audience hears the cat hissing from the kitchen. You attack the sea monster, ripping away at it with sharp fingers. The cat is screaming. You tear the sea monster in half, and black goo drips thickly through the water, over Your hands. The cat lets out one final, terrifying scream, and then stops. You lift Your arms up in victory, and bring Your trophy back to Your bed of seaweed. In real life, You are sleep walking back to the futon, the dead cat in Your hands, blood and guts and fur all over You. The dream screen goes back to black. You get back in bed.
